The trunk sh0w last night was really great. I had wonderful feedback for my new designs- and I even fell in love with one of the new pieces seeing it on the manican with the people buzzing around and the beautiful cast light from the chandelier… The necklace was made from two watch faces put back to back with a pressure set diamond in the lower left hand corner and 14 floating black diamonds- shakeable and fun. I had finished this piece somewhere around the 3 o’clock hour yesterday morning so at that point I was kind of on auto pilot and didn’t really realize how much I was in love with it until last night. It’s one of those designs that I have had floating around in my head somewhere for a long time. Those kinds of things kind of take on their own voice and decide seemingly on their own when it is time to make their debut. Thank you to the people at FOUND- and to all of those who came out to show your support. I love you all.

I have been trying to grow my inventory these past couple of months along with getting ready for wedding season! One of my favorite things as a metal smith is being able to create wedding bands for my friends and family. They mean even more when they come from the bench of a person that you know instead of a shop where they have been mass produced. Plus, I always document the ring making process- from stock material, to the moment the band is made, all the way up to the finishing polish.
Thanks to all who keep giving me endless support!
